Trip itinerary

Two hours allow you to get a true feel for the machine and explore natural terrain: forests, open landscapes and varied snow conditions. It’s an excellent choice for less experienced participants who want more than just a short ride.

Most of the time is spent actually riding off-road. The programme is not artificially extended.

In our experience: this is a good balance for many guests, although some choose to add an extra hour.

The price includes the snowmobile, guide and safety briefing.

Guests and requirements

We take 1 to 8 riders. A single rider pays a slightly higher price, because the cost of preparing the tour is the same for any group size.
Drivers must be 18 or older and hold a valid category A or B driving licence.
A Swedish snowmobile licence is not required, because riding with our guide covers it.
Every driver completes a short skills check during the safety training.
Passengers ride from the age of 6, with a parent or with our guide.
A local guide is also included.
Guests also need their own travel and activity insurance.

When to come

Snowmobile tours run from December to March, but late November and April are sometimes possible, snow permitting.

Luleå Airport (LLA) is 1 hour 20 minutes from Vidsel, and Skellefteå Airport (SFT) 2 hours 10 minutes. Both are approximate winter driving times.
