How should you prepare for a snowmobile trip?

Before your adventure starts, dress properly for Arctic weather. Wear thermal base layers and warm, comfortable clothes under the outer gear we provide. Do not wear jeans or tight clothes. In cold conditions, comfort means safety.

Listen carefully to your guide. Even if you have ridden before, every snowmobile feels a bit different. Take a few minutes to feel the throttle and brakes before we leave. Smooth riding is always better than fast riding.

If you ride with a guide, follow the instructions and keep a safe distance. If you ride without a guide, you are fully responsible for planning your route and checking the weather.

Bring a fully charged phone. It is smart to take a power bank and charging cable. If riding alone, use GPS and share your live location with someone you trust who is not riding with you.

In the Arctic, things can change quickly. If something unexpected happens, you may spend more time in the cold than planned. That is why really warm clothes, good boots, warm gloves and thick socks are very important.
