Most snowmobile operators run on a fixed daytime schedule. We do not. A 10 PM departure is a completely normal option for us. Just call ahead and we will set it up.
What It Feels Like
Your headlight cuts a narrow tunnel of light through the snow-covered forest. Everything outside that tunnel disappears. The engine noise fades into the trees behind you, and once you stop, the quiet is almost total. Guests often say the silence is what stays with them longest, more than the riding itself.
How It Differs From a Day Tour
Night tours run a little slower and cover a shorter, closer route than our daytime trips. The pace is calmer, and the focus shifts from distance covered to the experience of riding through the dark forest.
A Word About the Northern Lights
You might see the aurora on a night tour. Swedish Lapland sits under one of the better stretches of sky for it, and clear, dark nights improve your odds. But we do not promise the northern lights, and no honest operator should. Whether they show up depends on solar activity and clear skies on the night you ride, and both are outside anyone’s control.
What’s Included
Every rider gets a snowmobile with a heated handlebar and heated footrests, a full winter suit, helmet, goggles, gloves, and a balaclava. Fuel and a guide are included too.
